Brilliant location right in the main tourist area. Noise from other rooms could be intrusive at times - laminated flooring didn't help. Other showers and toilets could be heard though this was not too bad. Had to walk about 250 metres with luggage uphill to the recommended car park - vehicular access was possible through the crowded areas near the hotel, some taxis did it but I didn't see any cars. |

Location was very central. Room was very modern and well equipped. The view of Puerta del Sol from balcony excellent. Availability of Internet access was reason for choosing this hotel and it was good, though only plug-in, not WIFI. Hotel is undergoing renovation. Reception area very unimpressive, dark and small. Lift very old fashioned. Brealfast location - served in attic area due to renovations - was not very good. A lot of noise in hotel from other rooms throughout night. This was not due to builders. |

Everything. Very warm staff. Wonderful rooms. Free internet and bikes to ride at your disposal and it was in the heart of Madrid's downtown district. |

the location is great. very close to puerto del sol. laptop in room with free internet was great. the room was very modern and very clean. there was a lot of noise from the street. the bed was extremely uncomfortable. one night during my stay there were loud explosive-like noises for 30-40min at 3am. also in the morning, cleaning ladies make a lot of noise if cleaning nearby rooms. the hydro-massage shower is nothing special and should not be a reason for staying at the hotel. it is basically like a normal shower. |
