Informace o hotelu

Facing the sea, and with a total area of almost 2 hectares, the hotel building rises up on the western side of the rectangle that constitutes the World Trade Center complex. This exceptional architectural structure is reminiscent of the bridge of a large ship. The remaining 3 sides of the rectangle house convention halls and offices, as well as an executive club and a shopping centre. The hotel also has a lobby lounge and a piano bar, featuring live music every evening of the week.

For moments of relaxation, the Eurostars Grand Marina has a gymnasium with a sauna and jacuzzi, and an outdoor swimming pool (open 1 June to 5 September), with fantastic views of the city, both of which are on the eighth floor. The hotel also has a hairdressers and a massage service.

The establishment offers four halls with capacities of 80 to 1,000 people, as well as the exclusive hall, the Grand Marina Club. With natural light and a view of the harbour, all of the halls are air conditioned and have facilities for videoconferencing and computer connections, and include the latest audiovisual systems. The hotel can also offer its guests the 34 meeting rooms of the WTC and its auditorium for up to 430 people.

The most exquisite palates will find their own paradise of tastes in the hotel's broad, varied gastronomy. From the rings of the "Aire de Mar", with seating for 120, come the best dishes of Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant, which serves buffet breakfast, lunches and dinners, rounds off its offer with a warm private dining room for 40.

The hotel has a total of 235 double rooms on eight floors, including 38 suites plus a spectacular Presidential Suite on the top floor with a private terrace and unparalleled views of the city.

All of the rooms, which range between 30m2 and 44m2 in area, are equipped with water massage bathtubs, and the suites and superior rooms have, in addition, separate shower stalls. All the rooms include the latest technological innovations, and offer the highest level of comfort.
Decoration is elegant, with subdued and relaxing colours, rich woods and fabrics of the highest quality, providing a luxurious, well-balanced atmosphere. The meticulous attention to details is also evident in the hotel, which is in perfect harmony with its Mediterranean surroundings.

The hotel lies at the end of La Rambla and forms part of Port Vell (the Old Port). From here, you can walk up La Rambla to Plaza Catalunya, Barcelona´s hub, and on to the prestigious Passeig de Gracia, home to two of Gaudí´s most famous buildings, Casa Battló and the Pedrera. This route is also great for shopping, with many of the streets lined with exclusive boutiques.

Location, the sea view, hotel staff was very helpful, the room was very spacious and well equipped,

Only the TV programs - no free of charge music or movies channels, and if you want to pay than the price is too high- in nowadays the TV is not a point where you should spent 40 eur/day if you want to see MTV or VH1, or some normal movie channel

the staff was fantastic. no charged early check-in, fantastic room, excellent breakfast, very good location (rambla was just 5 minutes walk away).

The hotel was one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was not cheap but the room, the service and the excellent staff made our weekend a relaxing and stress free experience.

Super hotel, staff great. Great position for The Ramblers and other sights. Free wine and strawberries were served in our room as a birthday celebration, wonderful.

No tea or coffee making facilities in room.

Location of hotel, and quietness at night (after last car ferry left the port). Very nice and helpful staff. Very clean and well presented rooms. Views from room amazing.

I cannot understand why a 5 star Hotel, of such a high standard, has such hard and uncomfortable beds.
